Australian celebrity chef, Curtis Stone, will be at The Fullerton Hotel on the 5th of November. He will be part of a very special dinner event, treating guests to his favorite dishes from the program that made him what he is today - Surfing the Menu.
Rated one of the Sexiest Men Alive in 2006 by the People Magazine alongside George Clooney and Brad Pitt, Stone has hosted many cooking programs, most notably, as the Take Home Chef on Discovery Networks' TLC.
He started his professional cooking career at the age of 18 at the Savoy Hotel in London. Soon after, he began cooking alongside the legendary Marco Pierre White at The Cafe Royal and Mirabelle. He then became head chef at Marco's Quo Vadis before moving on to the prestigious Restaurant 301.
Stone will be in town on the 5th of November for the Singapore Sun Festival's Surfing the Menu with Curtis Stone. He will be cooking up a storm, treating guests to some of his favorite dishes from Surfing the Menu.
He will also join local chef Samia Ahad, host of The Food Bachelor for a special cooking class on the 6th of November: East Meets West in the Kitchen. Both chefs will come together to create dishes using the same produce and ingredients, but with their own individual styles.
